Abaco Wedding Photography

what to expect

My photography takes a creative photojournalistic approach. Every wedding is different and I want to tell your story! You just need to be yourselves. Most of the day I try to be as unobtrusive as possible, I feel that this is the best way to capture spontaneous moments.

Natural light is pure magic so I use as much of it as I can. I love to capture the landscapes and colors of these Bahamain islands - from the blues of the water, to the green palms and all the pinks & purples of sunset - and the affect they have on those who visit to celebrate their love surrounded by those who love them.

I’m all for the couple with adventurous spirits, who aren’t afraid of sandy feet or windblown hair, and who will have fun climbing on rocks or splashing in the water!

I find beauty in the small simple moments. I strive to capture the emotion of the day- the laughter, those sweet looks that you think no one is noticing, the tears, I want to capture it all!

About Gabrielle

Moment Seeker - Story Teller - Light Chaser

Spending most of my life in the beautiful islands of Abaco in the Bahamas has shaped who I am today and my artistic vision. I am always in awe of nature, especially the the ocean and can usually be found barefoot and windblown, searching for treasures along the shore. I love to go adventuring with my husband, sister, friends and dog.

I grew up on the small island of Man-O-War Cay, Abaco, Bahamas. I had always wanted to travel and see more of the world, so after graduating high school I crewed on a tall ship, learning seamanship skills while taking college credited courses. I sailed to over 30 countries traveling over 20,000 nautical miles. In this time as my horizons broadened and so did my love of photography, it was then I decided to pursue it as a career.

After receiving my BFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design I assisted a wedding photographer in Savannah for a few months before returning back to my beloved Bahama islands where I started my own business 6 years ago. Since Hurricane Dorian I have expanded my business and am now doing photography in the Bahamas and the United States.

Along with photography I also enjoy painting, ceramics and other art forms all heavily influenced by the surrounding beauty I find in nature!
